A few years back, I started creating jewelry as a hobby in between busy times with kids and horses. But after traveling and trekking through Ireland and experiencing all the amazing colours seen there, my passion exploded! I came home with sad longing to go back and a lasting imprint of what true colour looks like; this is when I really started experimenting with design and colour.
Also around this time, friend Denise Baxter invited me to become part of her Ashland Artisan Gallery, now known as the Ashland Art Center in Ashland Oregon~ I've enjoyed being one of the Resident Artists ever since!
My beaded creations incorporate semi~precious stones, pearls, and my own metal smithing using sterling silver, copper, and gold. I am also partial to the organic sense the Hill Tribes from Northern Thailand create and enjoy supporting them by integrating their unique silver work in my designs. (See Hill Tribes Link in header).
Although simplistic in style, I hope you'll find my jewelry as breathtaking as I found Ireland: classy, cool, rustic and simply~elegant!
