A few years back, I started beading as a hobby in between busy times with family and horses. But after traveling and trekking through Ireland with my husband, and experiencing all the amazing colours seen there, my passion exploded! I came home with sad longing to go back and a lasting imprint of what true colour looks like; this is when I really started experimenting with design and colour.
Also around this time, friend Denise Baxter invited me to become part of her Ashland Artisan Gallery in Ashland, Oregon~ I've enjoyed being one of the featured jewelry artists in the gallery ever since!
My beaded creations incorporate semi~precious stones, pearls, and my own metal smithing techniques using sterling silver, copper, and gold. I am also partial to the organic sense the Hill Tribes from Northern Thailand create and enjoy supporting them by integrating their unique silver work in my designs.
Although simplistic in style, I hope you'll find my jewelry as breathtaking as I found Ireland: classy, cool, rustic and simply~elegant!
